What are neodymium magnets?

Neodymium magnets are (also known as NdFeB, NIB or Neo magnet) and are the most widely used type of rare-earth magnet they are made from an alloy of Neodymium, iron and boron. Neodymium Magnets are the strongest type of permanent magnet commercially available and are ideal for Geocaching. They can hold a variety of container in place and have extremely high magnetic properties.

We have a range of Neodymium sizes available to suit various Geocaching containers  they can be either fixed internally or externally with glue or tape or externally using small screws.

Our Neodymium Magnet are also ideal for Munzee placement too.

Do not drill or attempt to cut the magnets.

Neodymium magnets should be stored in the original packaging when not in use.
